Lutheran Reunion.

The Rev. Dr. W. W. CRILEY, of Indianapolis, Ind., was one of the most enthusiastic attendants.

Mrs. Dr. L. A. GOTWALD, visiting her daughter, Mrs. Glen CUMMINGS, of Mansfield, was present at the reunion.

Rev. and Mrs. John A. BRIGHT, of Topeka, Kansas, visiting the pastor, took in the reunion.

When Dr. HARPSTER arrived in the city he was whirled to the park in the new electric automobile of Dr. BALTZLEY.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry WENTZ spent a Sabbath in Bucyrus last month.

Another member has been transferred from the church on earth to the church in heaven.After a long illness extending, practically, through several years, Mrs. HERSHISER was called from suffering to glory on the morning of the 23d ult. aged sixty years, six months and ten days.The funeral services were conducted by the pastor assisted by his father, an were held in the church.A large congregation gathered, besides the many relatives of the deceased.The casket was covered with beautiful bouquets and designs of cut flowers and there were many tears of sorrow and of sympathy.The pastor preached from the text found in Rev. 2:10, 'Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.'

The choir sang several impressive hymns, and the service was a most solemn one.

Mrs. HERSHISER is survived by her husband, two sons and one daughter.Another daughter has gone on before her into eternity.May God sanctify, unto the good of the bereaved family, this keen sorrow.

Revs. EBERLY and ORAM have both returned from vacations pleasantly spent with relatives and friends.

Charles BUSHEY was in Indiana and Illinois on an extended visit last month.

Mrs. Will SHAW, of E. Main St., is recovering from a severe attack of typhoid fever.

Max SHEELY has been employed at the Hinge Works during a part of the summer.

Mrs. John A. BUSHEY and son Harry, spent several days in visiting friends at Akron and Canton last month.

One of the Brothers DeWITT was unfortunate in being badly burned by an explosion of gasoline in the bakery last month.

Miss SUMMERS has returned after spending her vacation in Chicago and Colorado, studying, and visiting relatives and friends.

Mrs. Jacob FREAS sustained a painful burn of the limb and ankle by an application of carbolic acid in mistake for liniment.

Mr. and Mrs. WIKSTROM and family spent a two weeks vacation last month at Detroit Fats, a summer resort in Lake St. Clair.

Miss Francis DOLL, of Bellefontaine, is visiting the family of Henry

ORWILER and other relatives and friends in this vicinity.

Father SUMMERS is expected to return home from Colorado in the near future.We trust he will spend the entire winter with us.

Perry GUNDRUM will leave shortly to take a course in normal work in

Valparaiso, Ind.George McGINLEY is taking a similar course in Ada.

Rev. Dr. McCLAY, of the Methodist church, spent several days in Hayesville, O., recently, attending the golden wedding anniversary of his parents.

Mrs. and Mrs. John SHEELY have gone to Colorado on a pleasure trip and will visit relatives and friends.They stoppt in Chicago for several days to do some sightseeing.

J. C. FISH and family and Mr. and Mrs. ROBERTS were in a selected party which spent a day at Cedar Point last month.We believe there were others from our congregation who were also among the number.

Mrs. ANDERSON, Mrs. BARGA, Mrs. Geo. GARNHART, Henry ORWILER, Mrs. Jas. GUNDRUM, John SHEELY, and the Misses GUNDRUM were callers at the parsonage last month, making glad the hearts of the Pastor and family.Many thanks, friends!

The ill health of Mrs. WARE, wife of the reformed pastor, necessitated her being taken back to her home in Michigan.We sympathize with Mr. and Mrs. WARE in this trial.
